# Why am I seeing the legacy docs?

We recently launched **Galaxy Metal**, the new generation of Galaxy's cloud hosting platform. As part of that rollout, our documentation was split in two:
* [**help.galaxycloud.app**](https://help.galaxycloud.app/) — the new docs, covering **Galaxy Metal** and **Web Apps**.
* [**help-legacy.galaxycloud.app**](https://help-legacy.galaxycloud.app/en/) *(you're here)* — the legacy docs, covering apps running on **Galaxy Legacy**.

**Not sure which one you're on?** Check your app in the Galaxy dashboard. Apps on Galaxy Metal and Web Apps use the new docs. Apps on Galaxy Legacy use these.
We're keeping the legacy docs online and maintained for as long as apps run on Galaxy Legacy, so you can bookmark whichever set of docs applies to you.
